Passive production and the 8-hour window

Your buildings accumulate up to 8 hours of passive production between updates. At full health, each Ore Extractor level produces 9 Ore per hour, each Quantum Lab level produces 1 Research per minute, and each Quantum Credit Array level produces 1 QC per hour. Damage lowers output; research, Premium and some Alliance or sector bonuses can raise it. Extractors stop adding Ore when storage is full, although separate rewards can take your balance above the cap.

Ore storage capacity

Your colony starts with room for 1,000 Ore. Each Ore Storage building increases that cap. Add together the levels of all your Ore Storage buildings, then use the table below for the unmodified capacity. Storage Compression adds 2% per rank, and active Premium adds another 15%; the final capacity is rounded to a whole Ore.

QC is not wallet cash

QC contributes to a share of the Quantum Pool; it does not appear as withdrawable dollars immediately. A settled pool share credits the separate wallet. Wallet and withdrawals explains payout methods and restrictions.
