Attack, occupy and defend

Win a base battle, then choose whether to occupy it during the two-minute claim window. You may occupy multiple bases in the same or different sectors; each requires a separate victory and its own stationed ships. Occupation transfers selected Hangar ships to permanent defense of that base; they cannot be recalled. Fixed AI buildings remain on the base and are repaired immediately for the next attack. The occupier may spend the tier’s Ore cost for a two-hour +25% defense-threat boost.

Reward limits and safety

A qualifying win awards 25 Ore and 5 QC in a Frontier sector, 50 Ore and 10 QC in a Contested sector, or 75 Ore and 15 QC in a Deep sector. You can earn these rewards from up to ten wins per UTC day, and the same base can pay you only once in 24 hours. You may keep battling after that, but additional wins will not pay again until eligible. Sector attacks never steal Ore from the defender’s home colony. If Alliances tie for the most occupied bases, no Alliance controls the sector or receives its buff.
